marshall298 0
I recently got a adult hob off a mate a don’t think he has bothered with it much it bites every time I pik it up or put my hand in the cage. I have been handling it daily for a couple of weeks now with no progress (just very saw hands) … what would be the best way of dealing with this?? Quote Link to post

Tug 168
Time and patience. Try to get him licking you by putting cod liver oil or ferretone on your fingers. You could always try playing rough, roll him over and tickle his belly. If he's already bitten you then you know it hurts, but that's as bad as it gets. Handle him with confidence but be gentle too, never make a grab if you can help it - always try and stroke first. Edited February 4, 2012 by Tug Quote Link to post

Tug 168
cheers mate al try the ferretone with him I've edited my post to say on your fingers, try him with a spoon first though. Back of your hand is also a good place as he won't be able to grip properly. 1 Quote Link to post
