spots on ferret faces

hi ferrets have got blue and white spots over their faces just wondering anyone no about this or had it . and how to get rid of them ? thanks

yea went out a couple days back my mate come over he said they were ticks never had it before though. whats the best ways for getting rid of them?

U can get tick removers from pet shop or twist and pull them off make sure u get the mouth parts out tho

O'Tom tick removers are a piece of cake to use, available from most decent pet shops for a couple of quid. Don't bother with any of the old myths like Vaseline or alcohol, they can lead to some pretty nasty diseases being passed from the tick into the ferret.
