Double rope slip leads? Where to buy

Recommended Posts

black dog trading make the best gear and its made by someone who actually knows his stuff with dogs :victory:

Someones had a Stella have they?

Ask Black Dog what collar he bought to use on his Stafford .........

As for the original question, I don't make rope slips, mine are made from flat webbing, the sort you might use to hang a gobshite from a tall tree.

RM, for rope type slips, I think you mean the gundog type but double?

DDD was selling a load on here and they deffo weren't £20!

Without sounding like a suck up, I got my staff a collar from SS and the workmanship is second to none. He previously broke two collars (with help from the lurcher chewing on it lol) but the strong stuff collar has stayed strong very happy with it. Will be ordering in the near future.

lol err no!! i never event mentioned your name  i actualy meant bdt is someone who hunts with dogs so knows what gear should lat in the field as opposed to the hundreds of collar makers on the market! and you just said yourself you dont use rope?? your collars are ok for bull crosses but Jims are better for other types i Brought two collars off hin about 7 years ago and they are still as good to this day

Aaron sent me a free collar to test on one of my Shepherds a good 7 years ago, at the time i used leather collars andd wasn't expecting much, i lost the collar last year when i drove off and left it on the roof, the collar was still perfect, i now prefer Aarons stuff to leather, and his slips are excellent, a mate has a couple of double sliops Aarons made............
