dannyboy P 5
Air arms s200 mate. Iv had rapids 15 years and brought a cheap AA to sell on. It was that good I kept it and I pick that up now before the rapid!!! You won't go wrong with one mate Quote Link to post
Acuspell 329
The words CHEAP and BEST are mutually exclusive. I haven't clicked th elink, but an Air Arms 400 series is a good buy, provided it hasn't been butchered and messed with. They are extremely accurate when set up correctly, like 8mm groups at 35 yards. If there is one going within your budget, then it is a goo dchoice. the BSA is an under rated rifle too, VERY accurate barrels, so much so that people do use them for custom building. I have a Scorpion t10 in .22, blueprinted by John Bowkett and it is a 50 yard one holer. It is fantastic, but low on shot count, only about 50 shots in the sweet spot, but there agin, I don't need more. The Ultra is much the same. If you can find an outfit (I saw a Daystate offered for £250 the other day, it was FAC though and that limits who can buy it, hence the low price) there was a Scorpion outfit that went fo r£350 the other day too - so you can get one. Just bide your time and something will come along, it always does. Quote Link to post
Ashy 0
You could pickup a BSA ultra second hand for less then £350 if your lucky, my mate sold me his (single shot) for £150 with a shitty tasco scope on and a weichrauch silencer. It's an excellent shooter and in excellent condition. You can get them regulated to get a more consistant shot, and more shots per-fill, there a good super-light super-accurate hunting pcp. My only dislike is the MMC cocking system and low shots per fill (35 in .22). Edited February 3, 2012 by Ashy Quote Link to post
thewhippetman 0
bsa ultra mate very accurate if set up correctly good luck on finding a gun atb Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
My votes for a bsa ultra too. Match it with the correct pellet and zero it correctly and its as accurate as any sub 12 hunting rifle. Big statement i know but its true. Si. Quote Link to post
Sjt657 191
If you want a cheap but single shot the gunpower range is good second hand you can pick up a stealth for £250 . So you can get bottle and scope with extra cash ! Just a idea:) Quote Link to post
nangell 50
you cant go far wrong with the bsa ultra or air arms s200 Quote Link to post
Elmer_Fudd 28
I will have an ultra possibly for sale .... As si has said they are good guns ... I am just re doing the stock at the moment. also said though as well is the AAs200 mate also some of the other posts point to Webley .... Quote Link to post
skip 0
For that budget mate you should go for second hand in my opinion. YOu could get something reasonable new but something much better 2nd hand. Obviously buying 2nd hand has it's pit falls so be carefull. I bought my pcp about 18 months ago for £350 and I'm well pleased with it. I have a daystate harrier x which came with a stirrup pump and bag. It's an older gun than say the ultra but in my opinion better quality, I'm sure someone will argue but hey, good luck. Quote Link to post
Lewis Ste 245
Have a look at the webley raider I'm on the same budget as you and there are plenty out there for less than 300 so you can buy a pump aswel Best of luck, Lewis Quote Link to post
