Wanted BLUE WHIPPET stud dog

Hi all do you know of anyone that has a working KC registered blue whippet??

 

The dog has to come from working background & be blue as i have a blue bitch that is a real gem & is just coming into season for the 5th time & am looking for a quality stud dog.

Fair enough if its a working dog its a working dog and does the business you should take it even if its ugly as anything but i don't see why people can't have the dog they want with all the attributes they desire and markings.

Bit of both all, I paid probably £150.00 extra for my bitch because like everybody we all have different prefences.

 

I just like blue thats why i got a blue & if i can get a nice solid blue working dog stud then i would be happy as larry & pay a few extra quid for the dog.

 

On the flip side it gives me a headache to pick the pups i want to keep lol

blues are my favorate and id pay more to have one if i had to , if its from working stock why not look to breed your preferance ?

i think the blue fenominon is well over with whippets and staffs these days !

and we just looked a blacks a fetching more money than blues !!!

i dont understand the critosisum re colour .

if i was after a terrier id want a choclate fell to .. and id happy pay for it ..

I know a few who only concerned with chocalate patts or White lakelands so just because it's a whippet is no difference as long as it's working well

you get what YOU want pal,same said my bitch beddy whippet the mothers blonde bedlington the dads black and white whippet,my bitch is as blue as the sky,so it may be you only get a couple of blues from the litter,all the best anyway keep us posted on the pups please!!!

Here you go mate.At stud my fantastic blue whippet standing 20"tts & weighing 28lb. He is a superb worker in the field. out rabbiting on daytime rabbits and rats, He is an excellent catch dog with literaly 1000's to his name. Has been featured in articles in the working whippet year books, Countrymans weekly and in Earth dog running dog magazine.

 

Dodger is a great dog in the house good with other animals and children.

 

I have recently stated working him on the lamp with a few outings and has caught a few on each occasion and is really picking it up.

 

his kc name in Elgedane Artic shadow call name 'Dodger' and full ped can be seen on the whippet archive web site, he has excellent working lines and is a directs grandsone of Mike Browns Sooty Sam
