what size battery does the collar take ,iv lost the batteries from my collars and need the size to get more

What collar is it? No such thing as a barryvox collar.

If its ortovox it takes funny camera sized batteries, get from camera shop.

can the ortovox patroller reciever be calibrated to give correct depth readings with the ortovox transmitter? because mine always reads out

yes thats the one pal sound out ,i have been using the bellman collar and im just stuck now so i have to use the orthovox collar

I have never used a pieps transceiver but I know they sell one on the B&F site, and since I have a B&F collar and it works with both my barryvox and ortovox transceivers, I am going to assume that the pieps freeride would work with both the ortovox and B&F collars...
