What time of day do you pack up ferretting to give yourself enough time etc

What time do you guys packup the days action .

We always get there before its light and prefer to net the first buries up in near darknest have brew and then crack on .

Packup no later than 230pm in the depth of winter a little later when the daylight there.

But always allow a hour and half for headaches like lay ups etc only once lost a fert and had the car lights on the bury until the little monkey showed with a knackered collar .

i once went till haf 1 all the light i had was a torch from aldi that cost a euro

Last Sunday packed up a 4.30 pm just as it was getting dark , last burrows where under the main road too so im glad we had no hold ups

Depends on the warren, anything that could end up trouble then as said, probs 3 pm. Funny how sometimes you still find yourself digging like a maniac at 4pm as the light is fading.

wednesday ferret down at 12 ft in sand had to block up go back for the lamp still no joy so block up again just to deep an dangerous on me own to get to her got to about 8 ft got back for first light and after about an hour she showed thank feck, but normarly this time of year i wont start another bury after about 3 oclock

1st light, till when ever,,, but will not do deep sets on the last half hour of the day light,,, but has a norm,,, got enough for 2 ish,,,the big bags come early in the day,,

about 2.30 3 oclock ..as has been said imo if you have a good day the bulk rabbits come before dinner time.on a a bad though you can be scraping about till late to get a few.
