Great day up on those tops. . . i was on my arse quite a bit trying to climb up and down those slopes. But glorious weather for January and a cracking day in great company.

I think Tomo is now deffo a MK3 feret finder convert..it never failed us once today..every mark was spot on...But never as deep as the reciever said it was..there is deffo a bit of exageration on the measurements of the depth..but thats a bonus when your looking at a mark of 4ft and it turns out to be more like 3ft.

 

I only had my phone for pictures,but i got a couple of good ones.

Good days ferreting i enjoyed it there is still a few rabbits about on that farm to go at but the day flew over and it was time to pack up before we knew it a lot of digs did not help Tomo kindly took charge of the spade all day .There was a fair few dead rabbits lying about. I am not keen on them stone walls the older ya get the higher they seem to climb lol being 21 stone dont help much either but the lads said they would catch me if i fell lol.

It was hard work getting up on them tops..But even harder getting down with the extra weight.. But worth every minute mate. . It did seem to end too soon. . good days always do.

 

Thanks for letting me tag along.. Molly is still feeling sorry for herself.. her foot was slightly swollen last night,but its looking better today..So a good rest will sort her out.

yes we do lamp the same fields ,,, not evry single time i go up of course,, but quite regular through the season
