AndyKelly 251 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 back to the rabbit run today and it was a wierd un!. got there with a blanket of snow on the ground and the jack russell was off in every direction chasing bunnies.heard a yelp from her so raced up to find her sitting there not in pain or in danger so come to the conclusion she must have got a nettle up her a*s. rabbit warrens covered and a bombardment began. had bother with the hob had to get to the rabbits before him as he was trying to pull them back down the sets nets and all.then the terrier decided to chase a rabbit over a small pond and the ice broke.thank god she took to water like a duck( never saw what happened to the rabbit though) dog rescued and plodded on.decent haul of 35 rabbits over the next few hours and everything ran as normal till we got back to the car in the dark.then my mate pipes up that we have 24 rabbits.no i says we have 35.oh dam he says ive left 11 in the woods so we had an extra 20 minute walk in the dark to go back and try to find the rabbits got them though.happy butcher this morning and off to do it all again tomorrow.hopefully without the extra drama!
