Winter TrapLine Video - Reruns with slowmotion and closeups

Starting Tuesday 24 April 2007

The Defamation Of Character DOC suit by Gregory Gilbertson and MoreauLaw.ca

Has resulted in the winter trapline video (with close-ups) going into

re-runs. I'll use the re-runs, as the forum for making my case on the Net.

I'll slip in the odd, very odd discussion of the activities of this no

good, son of a B. GG. There are lots of things beyond what I have already

called him on. He has been here 22 years badgering people, doing favors

for his friends and getting same in return. I'll limit the DOC vids to 1

of the 10 videos each day. So bear with me.

There will be heavy editing of these videos, to show some of the action

close close up. The Weasel and the Bear will be viewed much more clearly.

I just re video the screen in these cases. If the video is fairly good

the re-shoot will be fine. I'm looking forward to seeing some of them

much larger and in super slow-motion.

Make sure you let your hunter-trapper friends know. I think this time

around will be almost as much fun as the first. There were 20,000 +

views of the various trapper hunter forums. This time maybe 100,000 or

more. Let me know your favorite videos and I'll post them permanently

on Video.google.ca and YouTube.com. (SpectateSwamp)

In the 3 hour grilling there was mention of 12 infractions. See if you

can spot them. I know those Spruce Hens, up close were upset, stomping

their tiny little feet.

Any and all help will be appreciated. E-mail or call his supervisors

and cronies. I'll list them all, as well as any related Legal material.

This is a very sorid tale.

Sneaking suspicion I may have missed something here.

/Mad

Keep watching dropshots.com/spectateswamp

and you'll see a couple working traplines. 5 or 6 hours

of video total. Weasel, Martin, Fisher, Coyote, Lynx

Skinning and stretching the various critters.

The Ruffed Grouse and Spruce Hens provided some

good footage. Two days to check 1 of the lines. 400klm

I am doing some reshoots of the screen. The live weasel

was much smaller in the original video. I'll be doing some

more of that. The Spruce Hen Rooster will be next for that.

the man sounds like a right prick and abusing his powers to suit him hope you get rid of the messer :censored:

He should be gone.

I'll try and keep the postings positive.

The trapline was a lot of fun.

Most of the things my trapper friend got in trouble for was my doing.

I said send the dog after those birds, because I wanted the video.

I sometimes gave him hand signals to speed up or slow down when

we saw game on the road.

The animals were beautiful and the snow deep. Enjoy the outing.

The replay video should get into some catch and fast.

Checking the first time around was very good this season

even the 2nd and 3rd weren't bad. So much snow that it

was fun to jump into a deep spot or send the dog. I would

get right in front of brownie as he was trying to climb

back onto the road over the windrow of snow and push him

back in. He went woof and I let him up. I made a fine tackle

on him as he tried to run by. Too bad that wasn't on video.

I'll throw in a story or two just to keep things going.

How My friend Norm vandenhouten. got a measure of revenge.

Norm fished lots at Slave Lake. Had a trailer for

the summer and must have come across this individual

a number of times. Anyway Norm went fishing with no

fishing gear whatsoever. He parked his boat close to

3 or 4 other Boats that were fishing. The Fish cop

pulls up and asks Norm for his Licence and he says

NO I won't show you my licence I'm not fishing. They

got into a heated discussion and the more Norm said

the larger the smiles on the other fishermen's faces

got. I know Norm's son has all the details. Norm passed

away 1 1/2 years back. It was good anyway. I may just

try that with my camera and some bait and be videoing

underwater and above. These guys are not our friends

and have never saved a fish. Respect is for friends only.

First Catch finally!!! Now the best video starts.

I haven't gotten around to doing any more re-shoots.

The Spruce Hen King Rooster would be one to get closer and slower.

The Roads.

----------

All the snow made the roads exciting.

Once off the main highway, there was only going in the ditch

to worry about. Some of the roads were gated and nobody on

them but the 3 or us. Mike would let Brownie run on these gated

roads, Sometimes seeing the Oil Field Maintenance guy. It was

on these reduced access roads that Brownie would encounter grouse

and moose. When stopping at a trap we seldom saw game.

We sure didn't stop the truck just to get video of brownie going

after animals. We had too many miles to cover. The pickup box full

of bait helped for breaking trail. Experience at bush driving was needed.

Just once; did I need to give a little shove, to get the Truck moving.

High speed for the conditions, was what got us through some spots.

A trapper must also watch for tracks. So it was mainly Me and Brownie

watching the road. All the snow, made it great for seeing game tracks

zip by. As the snow packed, it made the roads smooth. We could go even faster!!!

Using the right bait, can do wonders for others.

-----------------------------------------------

Years ago. I was a consultant for Shaw Cable here in Canada.

I'd often buy muffins for the rest of the staff. Just to stay

on their good side. Anyway one day I brought in 2 dozen huge

Tim Horton muffins With Butter (Bigger and better back then).

By chance, the board of directors were meeting that day and

they all came out at 10:00 a.m. for coffee and ate most of

the muffins.

They hardly touched the meal brought in by the catering co.

Scallops, shrimp, salmon and all kinds of fancy food remained.

The staff was allowed to have the leftovers. And there was lots.

Every board of directors meeting after that. I would bring in Muffins.

It worked very very well.

Give it a try. There must be many other circumstances, where putting out

good bait, will buy the less fortunate a great meal???
