Weihrauch HW100 pellet grouping test

Recommended Posts

Hi lads,

This is a pellet grouping test that I did over 2 mornings before work that was requested from one of our subscribers on VerminHuntersTV.

After seeing me test Laura’s BSA regged Ultra the gentleman asked if I could do the same thing with my Weihrauch HW100 S for him.

I have used the 4 same pellet brands as I did with the Ultra but this time I have shot 1 initial aim point shot followed by a further 13 shots at the same hole.

As you will see the results are different this time around but still very good apart from 1 brand.

Regards

Si.

tut..typical Weihrauch's lol..nice arnt they.

they used to be known as 'long distance' air rifles with full legth barrels before the karbine days started. i have to asmit i couldnt fault my old 80, some one elses 35, the 77's were good too, and the HW100 on a shop short range with no sights prooved rather accurate too.. the best feature after the thumbhold ambi stock was the cocking action. i dont know how fast they'd work reliably, but it was fast as a first time user.

No not at the moment pal, on a ratio of shot groups ive done the rws super fields group will shoot a 5 shot group the diameter of just 1 pellet hole more times than the air arms.

That group I shot with the AA on the review was better than normal by 3 or so mm.

funnily enough, i tried the fx pellets in the pro sport after happily using aa fields and had similar sized groups. did my confidence no good at all at the time since they looked virtually identical to the aa's so i assumed i'd gone off the boil big time... i'm waiting on the local rfd to get some superfields in to give them a try, although i've some of those falcon lights to give some distance shooting a go with, at 25m they group pretty much the same as the aa's but i havent had a chance to try them out to 50m with yet.

good vid si

cheers, wurz
