x38 179 Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 started the van up, heres a clang and found this, should i be worried Is it rubber, what make of van is it, is it petrol or diesel its part of the front spring its been rattling for over a year at least the rattles stopped its a berlingo diesel :laugh:dont you no so the M O T lad let it go then It's just an advisory as of 2012, lol ye ok the step fartherS car just falled on friday on it ..........and there getting tuffer on MOTs not softer Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Don't worry about it Paul - it'll make sweet FA difference to how it drives and won't make it unsafe. For what you use the van for its not an issue. Baghdadnights 150 Posted February 2, 2012 Report Share Posted February 2, 2012 Ffs don't try and replace a suspension spring yourself you get it wrong and the spring is under a lot of tension when they let go in your direction it makes a mess I should know I'm a mechanic had one come out of a proper spring compressor sliced the end of my nose off bit higher up I wouldn't be here now Quote Link to post Share on other sites
