BEARINATOR 2,876
Be nice to see some pics of how they turn out, I have had a few unusual crosses in my time , the last 1 being a irish wolfhound x bullmastiff which I gave to a lad for tracking the big reds on his estate in scotland as I didn't have the kind of work it needed but it is excelling up there Quote Link to post
leegreen 2,222
A Non-ped Whippet is a Whippet/Greyhound. This may make a very good dog, for you haters. And being spoken for has to mean something. Can you get any pics of the parents? Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
It all depends how it throws as we all know in the Lurcher world percentages don't really mean a great deal. So it could come out nicer then people think but regardless put alot of time and effort into the dog and you might just be surprised with what you get. As at the end of the day it's still a Lurcher Edited February 2, 2012 by born to run1083 Quote Link to post
derbylad1 293
Getting a lurcher and seeing how it turns out is like a lottery, sometime you get a gooden...sometimes you dont. I'd say thats 50% of how the dogs turns out, the other 50% is how the little dog will be brought on. Moll has a 1st cross staffy/whippet. very handy little dog that i have witnessed first hand, will graft all day. Quote Link to post
