millytheterrier 12 Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 I fed my two stinkers with a raw chicken drum each yestaday, this morning found them both hidden in there bed area? why havent they eatten it? rob190364 2,594 Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 Mine were a bit funny about eating chicken for months when I was switching them to raw, they' just store it in the nest boxes. I found they'd eat it if I cut it up into small pieces and then after a while they'd eat the whole drumstick. Quote Link to post
max abell 196 Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 As malt says they ferrets do things like that if you are giving them chicken drumsticks i would give the dry food a miss that day Also remember to take any meat out in the morning when the weather warms up else the dredded flies will be on it and it's maggot ridden in no time it's ok this time of year when it's cold to leave for a couple of days Quote Link to post
