pup

Recommended Posts

Ill be getting my pup in the next few days but due to jabs won't be able to take it out for 4-6 weeks. I'm going to teach it sit, to walk on the lead (out to garden for toilet ann back)perhaps start on retrieving tiny things. Is there anything else I can start on with pup whilst its still housebound?

dont make a big fuss of the pup in the house, the pup will start making association with its surroundings early on, inside calm, outside play, people dont get this and its very important the pup if it gets used to seeing the house as an exciting place and play area is what leads to furniture getting decorated later on in its life, things get chewed and it runs around biting the children,

come in to the house , ignore the pup , let him out if he's in a crate, go to the back door let him out, let him pee, praise him then make contact and pet him,

i dont touch the dogs in the house, they come in and lay down and sleep , they dont bark they dont whine, maybe not for everyone but ive found it makes my life easier,

best of luck bud
