The unveiling of the mystery rifle

Recommended Posts

hi Wurz

its a nice rifle to shoot, the problems people had with the S16 was person ,not product!

I had one on lone a number of years ago,and after a go on one that it was fine and

nice and quiet too!

I had no problem with the XVI or the S16,a lot of people wasn't cocking it properly, and double loading it the "S16 that is",(also like the AAS410 if your not careful)

then finding they had run out of air ,hence having a pellet stuck in the barrel.

which is how I came to have it on loan, once I sorted it out,the lad asked me to zero it for him and had a great time with it,but a bit paramilitary for me.

other than that the XVI is a good static rifle  but not every ones cup of tea?

PS.great review & shooting Si

regards

Davy

cheers lads, i was only asking as a young pal of mine had one a couple of years back, and quite frankly, it was horrible!! trouble cocking it, not the best of groups when pellet testing, and just not right really. i quite like its looks, although i wouldnt have one myself. i was just taking the opportunity to hear your honest opinions of it.

cheers, wurz

I've been looking at the XVI for a while now, I had heard about it early to mid last year. I had been also considdering the S-16 years ago, I had heard that the faults on the 16 were down to the user and I know somone who is really into the 16's. He swears that they are a brilliant rifle if used correctly and maintained well.

His only gripe was a seal that kept blowing out.

The new internals are supposed to be far superior and provide much more consistant output shot to shot.

Having only now been able to watch the vids on the channels I'm now defo in the mood for saving up for one

Think some of my pistols may have to go :hmm:

Great Vid guy's and as always bloody great shooting :notworthy:

Right many more vids to catch up on so back to the channel :bye: see yah later
