zini 1,939
Hi everyone, It’s the time now when VerminHuntersTV is ready to unveil the mystery rifle that we have been testing. After many months of filming and field testing, here is the review and field test. The review and field test is taken from where Airgun T.V and Mr Nigel Allen left off and we have concentrated mainly on accuracy testing at range and hunting vermin. If you haven’t seen the original review done by Mr Nigel Allen then please paste this link into your web browser to watch. It’s a very good review and will give you all the technical data that we at VerminHuntersTV have left out while we concentrate on accuracy testing and hunting. . Hope you enjoy the review. secretagentmole 1,701
It is, it is made by the same factory, Same rifle, just simplified by Edgar Brothers a bit! Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
Not my cup of tea. Just an updated S16. Nice vid though ATB Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Correct gentleman. If you watch the Nigel Allen review he explains all the changes and mods. It's a nice rifle but quite heavy so is ideally suited for static hunting from the bipod. Very accurate though and smooth to shoot. Si. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Incidentally that is why it is called XVI, Roman numerals for 16! Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
Its a bit to SAS for me, no a big fan of Rambo air rifles, the fact it looks like something out of Black OP's wouldn't make me rush out and buy one, but its all down to the idividual who's splashing the cash Quote Link to post

The Salvation Army Service prefer the bang of a big bass drum, they are not into guns .....be no good to Rambo either....he couldnt lift it Bill. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
Didn't know the Salvation Army Service had a pest problem, you would think the constant hymn singing would drive them away Quote Link to post

I have the utmost respect for the work the Salvation Army do.....good people. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
I think its a marmite rifle. You love the look or hate it. Facts are It's bloody heavy scoped up. I never found any problem with jams infact it cycled nice and smooth. It's as accurate as you will need for max range hunting. 500 shots are great to have. It's very quiet and the silenced works a treat. Due to the weight I only suggest this as a static hunting rifle unless your Garth. It would be a perfect bunny rifle over a warren or a bench shooting rifle for fun in the garden. Would I buy one? Yes but just as a static hunting rifle. If shot correctly its as accurate as my hw100. Si. Quote Link to post
