Best 'lure' for lure machine?

As title says, what's the best lure you have found to use for running a dog on a lure machine? Rabbit skin wrapped

Around a bottle/ net bag? Plastic bag? A rag?

By far and away the best thing I've used (and I've used all sorts) is a plastic bag. They're cheap, light, don't create much drag and they're easy to get out of the dog's mouth.

Plastic bag!! I tie it on make a few knots down and cut it into a sort or shuttle cock shape if that makes sense lol

try with plastic bag first if the dog aint to keen i use a fox tail it seems to spark em up ,then plastic bag with fox tail ,then back to plastic bag on own ,if you find the plastic bag flies about to much put a leader rope between lure line and lure about 4 ft of 1/2 inch hemp or soft rope ,and you will stop dog tangleing with line when he gos for lure at the finish good luck.

tbh whatever you put on it will not make any differance is my honest opinion seen them chase it with nothing on it ,loads of times and also had real good working dogs that would not chase it whatever you put on it .

One of mine point blank turns her nose up if it's anything that doesn't look real, fox tail or a bit of rabbit skin is the only thing to get her going. The others are fine with a plastic bag or bit of material.

Doesn't it make sense to use the skin of something you want the dog to catch? I was thinking of bunny skin for when the time comes.
