Overnight/ travel box

Recommended Posts

Does anybody go away ferreting for a weekend or have to stay over somewhere the night? If so what do you keep the ferrets in overnight?

I took mine in the week overnight in a cat carrier to ferret down by my old mans. Woke up to the carrier on it's side in the back of the car and the ferrets covered in sh!t.

Decided to make a box for them to stay in. It's just over 2 1/2 feet wide (to fit in boot) with a 1/2 mesh front. Will do the job for me.

What do you use? Cheers

this si the one i made. pretty rough when you look close at it but cost nothing to make, fits nicely in the boot and will be good enough for what i need it for.

just waiting on the latches to arrive off ebay to lock the lid.

Looks pretty smart that bud! I use a cat carrier at the moment but am going to make something similar to what you've done there I think.

Thanks. Rake your box is spot on! Works a treat in the back of the motor, that's what gave me the idea to

Make this.

I just flung this together and it's a little rough when your up close to it. I only had a hand saw and some nails so put it together and then got some screws and re- enforced it all and put hinges on etc. Would o been a lot better if I had the right equipment. Oh- and the paint job is to cover the sh!t wood
