reflexx 2
Hi All I currently live in an apartment, so I dont have any land to practice on. I have quite alot of experience shooting various rifles/shotguns back up North but haven't picked up an air rifle in probably 8 years now. Just a bit of advice really. I still have my old rifle, but where would I practice? I have found Glevum target shooting near Gloucester, does anyone know if they are any good? Also, I mentioned in my intro post that I am a scout leader over in Andoversford so we have a pretty big hall we set up for the kids to shoot, but its not really big enough to practice for game shooting. Any advice would be very much appreciated, and if there are any locals around I would be more than happy to hear from you! Thanks Matt Quote Link to post

reflexx 2
Hey thanks Bearinator, I didn't think to look on the NSRA site. I have emailed a couple of local clubs to ask around. I'm more keen to get some practice in so I can better help the scouts. I will eventually be sent on an official course with the scout group to get a range officer certificate so that should help. Thanks again Matt Edited January 31, 2012 by reflexx Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
One of the lads on here does instructor courses, If you want to teach the Scouts how to shoot could be worth looking at, look for venomviper and have a word with him about the ATEO course! Quote Link to post

reflexx 2
Hi Davy Apologies for being a bit quiet as of late, I've been away in the warmer climates with work. The old-downs place sounds like it could be good, I'm right the other side of Cheltenham, but my girlfriend is at college in Cirencester so I'm sure I could work something out. One question, do you shoot .22's there? The place I found around here only shoots .177 Pretty blonde bird sounds attractive in any case!!! Thanks again Matt Quote Link to post

nichard 4
Hi, I have permission on some land in Cheltenham and would be happy to take you along for some target shooting. If you pm me I will give you my number and when the evenings are a bit brighter we can get out there. There are plenty of rabbits too if you want to try your hand at that once you are a confidant shot Quote Link to post
