socks 32,253
cant see how they can be any warmth in that. quilts all the way changed every two weeks for me. Plenty of warmth in waxed paper the dogs bury he selves down in it and has as bees said a dog fesh in from hunting wet and muddy on a quilt will just make the quilt wet and muddy whereas the dogs body temperature dries itself and the paper out in no time. stabba 10,745
If the quilts get wet and muddy..then a good idea would be to rub the dog down before bedding him down after a session of exercise..cant believe folk put their dogs away without rubbing em down/drying them out first...always carpet in the summer and a good quilt in the winter...just to add..my pens have got a roof on so they are not gettin wet feet when in and out of the kennel..atb stabba
