Recommended Posts

I mentioned a while back I got a kindle book yoke for x mass as a pressie from a family member, well im not a book reader in any shape or form but when I got it I thought Id change my ways. Now Im not any way near good on these modern day contracptions,be it computers or kindles or even calculators for that matter :D Ive spent a few hours on and off looking for free downloads for the kindle and have failed to source any kind of writing material that id be interested in down loading,so for the last time....can anyone on here point me in the direction of any books that I can download on the damn thing.I am really interested in hunting/shooting/countryside matters/dogs etc only.If i dont get sorted soon its being handed to my daughter that reads anything she can find. The thing is,why my sibling even came up with the idea of buying me one of these stupid furkin things.Im the last man on the planet that would sit down and spend any period of time reading.I struggle with the bloody mobile phone at the best of times.I bought a touch screen phone last october, its gone in for repair as theirs a fault with the dopey thing, and its going to cost me at least 30 euros just to look at it before they do any repairs.Ive just had my computer sorted which cost me a pretty penny as I had a trojan virus(so im told) on the stupid thing.I lost all my pictures, all my sites I visited and god knows what else.Me and technology are not the best bed fellows.Thank god for the dogs and hunting.SO GUYS AND GALS CAN YOU HELP.ANY FREE BOOK DOWNLOADS BEFORE i FLING IT IN MY DAUGHTERS DIRECTION.

Jesus what a p*ss take. I'm lucky to be pretty good with computers but I've never had a problem I couldn't fix. 200 Euros is outrageous!

I got the wife a Kindle for Xmas, she loves it. The only thing she could do with is the case that has a little reading light built into it. I'm now looking forward to the day our house isn't cluttered up with all those crime fiction books she reads. :D

One of the best things ive ever bought. TBH it sounds like your not going to be using it much, probably best to give it to your daughter now. if you dont read much then i cant see how fannying on getting a different book on it each week will entice you to read more.

my gaffer tells me there are some free books to be had on amazonb and you can get em when you register your kindle, he read one called The Crew, reckons it was a mint read, about football hooligans and plod tring to catch them, said the book has a wicked twist in it, best book he has read he says, seen sites with hundereds of free ebooks take a look on Demonoid, Ive downloaded tons for my boy on his tablet pc, thing, me personaly I prefer the house cluttered up with real books, mind I reckon these kindles are ideal for travelling etc, kid got the tablet for xmas and I gotta say it pisses all over the IPads we use at work, all the software etc is free on the Android MArkets, he downloads movies misic games etc all for free, great for on the go as well

I know what you mean jigsaw. Think what you need to do is go to waterstones website and look for books that you want to read, then look on amazon to see if they are there and free or cheap. Then go to torrentz.eu and look for the books there. If you can find them for free and/or cheap then your laughing, if not, and you dont read much then you need to start! :D

Artic, i just downloaded "the crew" last week, its on my to read list. Im into simon kernick books at the moment, and i cant put my kindle down, seriously good books.
