spec 45
I've just had to have my cocker bitch spayed due to her dodgy seasons, and I'm worried about her getting fat despite having enough work/suitable feed as seems to be the case with lots of bitches. It's been ages since I kept a bitch, and I've never had one spayed before, so am I being paranoid? Stories of your spayed bitches who didn't get fat and fluffy after being spayed would be great. littlefish 585
Fed and exercised properly a spayed bitch, just like any other canine, will not get fat. Each one is an individual and have its condition monitored on a day to day basis and adjusted accordingly.
