personally, i'd leave the lamp alone for a bit, get yourself positioned within your comfortable shooting range near where you've seen rabbit activity at dawn or dusk and pop a couple in daylight-then all you've to worry about is where to shoot, rather than adding the complications of lamp on lamp off etc... just ambush the fekkers and enjoy yourself bud, dont get too hungup on bagging loads, it'll happen eventually...

I know both places well . The guy that shoots Enville Golfclub is a mate of mine , and Rodbaston , my sister in law was there for ages . The thing to do is practise , practise , practise . If you want some spot on advise , shooting and rabbit wise , give Tony Wall @ Sandwell Field Sports a ring , he runs a hft course just round the corner from Rodbaston , he will tell you what's what mate , and you can have some practise on his course . Ring him , and get down there on Sunday , he'll make sure your guns are up to it , and put you right on shooting . A great bunch of guys , and you will learn LOADS there mate .

Enville is a lovely place to be honest. You been to the cat in enville? nice pub. I was on the website last night for sandwell looking at some scopes etc.

was hoping to go down there after my pay day end of this month but sounds like its worth giving him a call!

Cheers Guys!

So i went out last Friday night between 8-10pm, and my GOD it is hard to stalk rabbits going to take a lot of practise.

dont think it helped that my dad is the loudest man i have ever met, it was if he was trying to let them know we were here aha

had a big walk around and found out where they seem to be so will hopefully go up next friday aswell have another go might try just sitting outside a burrow this time, plus hopefully my GF's dad will let me borrow his coleman lamp see if i can get any to sit as we only used a low power torch.

anyway Cheers for the advise hopefully keep you updated after this friday, might try going a bit later this time see if there is more about.
