Marvin 193
Why is it when people get an answer they don't like they start picking up on spelling and grammer in the persons post, then the other side replies by calling them everything under the sun it's like a bloody school yard on here sometimes. The bloke has a patterdale and doesn't work it to ground so what, if he's happy with it then thats all that matters. Before you all start I know it's a cardinal sin to own a working breed terrier and not dig to it in some people's eyes but get off your little orange boxes and just answer the blokes question. Working the dog on rats and rabbits will mentally stimulate the dog and provide it with a decent level of work to keep it active. If your not prepared to have the dog injured or killed don't send it to ground simple. Spot on Rhodey, I know a few lads with patterdales that wouldn't go to ground with a miners head lamp on and they act like they know it all . Marvin if you are near me then I'll take you out on a days digging and see if it's for you and if it ain't then I won't complain . Just enjoy what your dog does whether it's a busher, marker or a earth dog as it's yours at the end of the day Im from Hartlepool mate and yeah im up for that like Quote Link to post

Marvin 193
99% of people on here cant spell and nobody gives a flying f**k, if thats all you can get me on big deal. The fact still remains you jumped the gun and got yourself into something you know nothing about. I could probably pick you up on plenty more than your poor spelling if i knew you, maybe your small in the pants, maybe your wife takes it up the wrong-un while your out getting your dogs lip ripped off, maybe your getting it up the wrong-un while your wife thinks your out with the dog, i don't know simply because i don't know you, in the same way you don't know me, yet you assume im a knob, As for jumping the gun, how exactly have i done this? i bought a dog - had dogs all of my life, staffords mostly decided to try something else, wasn't looking to get into the digging scene (so no gun jumped i do believe) had the subject brought up on a days ferreting and have been mulling it over in my head as to the pro's and con's mentally of doing it, i do agree i know very little of the digging scene but one thing i have learned very fast is there are quite a few on here who have a high percentage of negatives to add rather than helpful comment's, now im sure as to which category you would put yourself into, but on this one your running at 100% negativity dude. Nothing helpful to input then why have your say ?? dont you get listened to at home son is that what it is .............. bless ye That said, if your anywhere in the north east and fancy educating me, im willing Edited February 1, 2012 by Marvin Quote Link to post

BEARINATOR 2,867
No bother mate, it's what forums are for to offer advice and meet up with fellow hunters , I get sick of the constant bitching on threads that is why I normally pm my mates pics of the dogs and let them know how I get on with my pest control work Quote Link to post
