Westy76 546
Wouldn't surgical spirit on the pads help to? What me and my dog don't know about this problem!!! This pic is sox at his worst last sept, cost me a small fortune at the vets but this is nettle stings and thankfully from some sound advice from skycat there 90% better now. Nettles at the mo are 1-2cm and at there worst but I have a regime that seems to be working so I'll pass it on After walking soak feet in warm salted water, dry and apply sudacream also if the dog is dancing about give piriton etc also ASAP to calm it and stop him licking/chewing. Obviously soxs case is pretty extreme but if anyone's dog gets this bad regular walks on beach/sea helped big time the redness disappeared and he stopped licking and chewing. Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem we had.

Rake aboot 4,936
Westy Try some camrosa on the pups feet when it scrapes them all like that.. nettles are a cnut, but it`s the scratching that causes all the damage ATB
