The Don dog is a real nice stamp of dog, regardless of looks he's a well put together dog.Though he's not ugly to me. Quote Link to post

Tod wished he had coat like them , he was cold this morning when i turned of the heat lamps lol They'd be outside if I thought that they'd be safe but sadly I don't think they would, we get gypsies on the scrap around my way all day every day, they nick anything and a couple of lurchers would have them rubbing their grubby little hands. If I had the room to kennel a tidy guard dog they'd be in the kennel, I'd prefer to have a couple of nesh lurchers than not have any. 4 Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
Same here Jinny i dare not kennel a good dog anymore throught the rise in theft's over the past couple of year;s..but Johnny that pup look's well at home resting it's little body before she let's the demon back out.. 1 Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
Just seen the pup in the flesh and I must say a very well reared confident pup. Lovely and bold and Her build and confirmation is cracking which pictures don't always show to well. You can see her high drive already. Really looking forward to seeing her progression now over the next few years. Credit to all parties 2 Quote Link to post
bunnys 1,228
Ihave a tendency to agree with bird and what he says makes alot of sense , i would go a step further and say animals have been witnessed has very good starters and hit a level and are not capable of going that bit further through the developement in a nut shell even out a one degree of level . On the other hand have seen and witnessed over time animals that start of steady to mediocre to develop and can and do seem to be able to go that level higher , this can be seen in all types and xs, care how they bred , HAS this his usually the key breeding early starters showing great promise and hit a level and stay at that level then theres some who can step yup that little bit further given type of work graft etc , mental attribute have a big bearing ion animals to go on in later yrs and still be game and have the will to put a good shift in , heavily base bred animals can and do seem to learn the job so quickly , on the basis of putting stuff away early on , sapplings and first season animals do and can show the tendency of there willingness and best , but i would say tested over a period will and does give a truer picrture of the true strengths and weaknesse of any stud dog atb bunnys. She's a real clever pup and is not fazed by anything, real out going and oozes confidence, you can see the drive in her already. Hopefully be all named up on the weekend. 1 Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
Brilliant stuff matey..it just goes to show what a bit of knowledge about the breed can produce..or should i say a lot of knowledge..i would say all 3 pup's will be like pea's in a pod brain and temprement wise and i look forward to seeing all there progress.. ..i would still be dogless now if this litter did not pop up..i waited 4yr's for this oppertunity to get another lurcher and when the right one popped up i took it..i would of paid 5 time's as much as i had to which still would not of been as much as they are going to be worth to me in the future..
