Work on this mate..

Roughly 9 tiles (13"x13") to 1m squared

3m x 3m = 9m squared

So 9 tiles x 9m = 81 tiles needed

You may be lucky and get away with it lol usually if you don't get the extra tiles you'll need them and if you do get them you won't need them

im guessing its 4 walls 3m long and 2.4 m high ??? is this right or are you just doing one wall 3 x 3 m cos no where near enough to do the 4 walls you will be able to do one though .

would anyone know?? i have 8 boxes of tiles 9 in a box + 6 spare (78 tiles) each tile measures 13" x 13", would there be enough to do a 3m x 3m room (its just under 3m x 3m)

I am a tiling contractor so follow this 78x13x13 equates 13182 sq in

3mtrs x 3mtrs equates 39.5x39.5x 9 equates 14042.25

14042.25-13182 = .869.25

5 short

you need also to allow 6% for cuts in a floor

your well short mate

move house to one where the floor is already tiled. that way, you will have by my recconing 78 tiles spare. you could put these on e-bay and sell em for a £each. hey presto. a nice tiled floor and enough money left over to go out for a few beers.:laugh:
