Champion John, struggled today to get them to bolt the ground was hard as hell maggie was all over the place trying to keep her feet. She flattened 2 running over them she had no brakes at all. only ended up with 2. 1 she caught later in the day when the frost melted and one that back netted, nice walk out though but i didnt have enough nets or ferrets to do the sets, they are twice the size of last year some of them 30 nets wasnt enough.

No bother Keith will do had to go to work the smorning but not till about 10 so took the dogs out early on was walking past the lake bloke with a big posh camera was taking photos of the ducks well meg likes a swim and even better if there's a chance of a duck off she flys and leaps straight in the water ducks scatter every we're one flys a bit to low over jack and he leaps and takes it out of the air bloke with the camera wasn't to impressed but av got duck for me dinner tomorro.

did he get a picture of the dog taking it out of the air? that would have been a good one for here. maggie hammers moorhens when they take off they are crap fliers. she has had a few ducks as well but her favourites are pheasent she will hunt them all day

i was annoyed at myself Bear i knew where i was going and didnt prepare properly the little dog saw a lot of runs but the ground was crap and i was worried her feet would take a hammering and that was all due to not having enough nets. iwas pushing my luck today and although no big catches at least maggies ok. i blame too much vodka on sat night my brain is puggled enough without clouding it with drink!!
