Wish I'd done this years ago!

Great read,

I've got a great big lump of a GSP and he's dead keen, he's 11 months and a bit vocal at the moment.

Getting pretty good at retrieving dummies and anything we throw for him, has this habit of dropping it short of the hand at the moment too.

I'm planning on getting him retrieving for the geese and ducks next season.

Never done any lamping for rabbits with a dog at night, has anyone used these for this?

ATB Chris.

Hi folks,   If you don't want to read about a guy who's really pleased and smitten with his newly discovered dog breed (lurcher), then look away now.   Roxy is 16 weeks old today and tonight I too

It wont be long before your checking the weather for wet and windy nights enjoy most forms of hunting and have done for 25years but watching a lurcher run ,,,nothing better mate

ATB Chris.

Had an amazing GSD (long haired and HUGE) and he managed to catch the odd daytime bunny, not deliberate on my part and even got close to a hare once!

If I'd been into hunting with dogs back then, I imagine he'd have been able to catch on the lamp without too much bother.

Being choosy when praising Roxy seems to be gradually curing her of dropping the retrieve, rather than delivering to hand; worth a try mate?
