WATER FEEDER BOTTLE TROUBLE?

Recommended Posts

Bang some neet bleech in the bottle. Let is stand, swill it around. And the algae will soon come off. Just make sure you rinse the bottle out well. The method has never failed me, and it only takes a few minutes. Just remember to wash the bottle out well

I have a couple of coloured bottles for my mice (snakefood) and they still algae up!

Also breed birds and I add Avicleans to their water- I think its 5ml per litre. Prevents the growth of algae, mould and toxins building up in water containers. Try a bird shop or online vet site.

handful of small gravel, stick it in & shake it round with some water. i keep a little pile of stones next to the sink, and clean the bottles every few days. covering them works, just don't forget to top the bottles up regularly!
