my mate bred two chocs, and got blacks, black n tan and chocs in the litter.

It will depend on genes and who the grand parents etc were, if there was black there somewhere you can get a black and sometimes you get a bronze color.

Genes mate like you say but the choc colour gene always seems to be stronger. I have spock to 5 different people on the matter who have put chocs on chocs on a few occations each, and have never had or ever heard of a black in the litters, the people I have spock to all keep the same sort of blood dont know if that would make a difference?
