Lamping a new spot lastnight

I went out with Dublin Dezzy to try a spot we got permission on during the week,the first field we went into with a quick shine of the lamp we seen two sets of eyes down in the corner ,so i gave a call and both foxes came sprinting towards us,once they were in range we slipped on the nearest one but this nippy little Charlie took the dogs on a good spin and made it to the cover,We then up through a few more stubble fields and had a few slips on bunnies but they where hard got with the noise of us walking through the stubble .We then got another set of amber eyes in the beam and with the bit of wind that was out in our face i started calling and this fox came steaming in ,it got with in slipping distance and we slipped after a good course with a few near misses on the turns they took their quarry and dispatched it in seconds.

We had few more slips on bunnies and found a couple of promising looking fox earths,that might get a sniff from the terrier's the weekend

Not bad at all Danny,iv'e to see a farmer the weekend about another spot so i'l sus it out and get yis down for the night,there seems to be a few farmers panicking the moment ,they are losing some of the early lambs already

no probs its the same every year with them going for a mooch this morning beside a sheep farm to see what happens could get lucky
