this is the rifle i normally fire in work out on tour at targets bigger than bunnies and crows but i would say its always a pleasure to come home and fire that little .177 pellet rather than a 338 bullet :thumbs:

hi davyt ye it fires a 8.59mm round at targets upto 1400m but im sure some one has hit a target upto 2400m and killed stone dead. it hits harder than a .44 magnum at about 20 meters away. costs £ 23000. i am deploying to afghanistan in mid march for a 6 month tour hopefully abit more quiet than my last tour, so gonna try and get out as much as i can before i go :thumbs::bye:

my mates out in the gan now you must be replacing him hes out there with 2 rifles, He came back for R n R over xmas and said hes only been under serious fire twice in the three months before xmas and this is his second tour so it sounds like its quietning down ova there

i think we are taking over the rifles only thing its pretty quiet over there in the winter and they tend to pick up the fighting during june july ish when poppy harvesting finishes as long as its more quiet than 2009 when we done panters clew should be fine, but end of they day im in a intrentry battalion and getting into the thick of it is our bread and butter :)
