CWN-HELA 228
Well last week went to feed chickens and ducks and the geese and there was 1 duck gone ( hen ) few fethers and a decent lump of skin but no duck any where. Went 2 do the same again 2 day and now the cock duck had gone no fethers oh nothing. It's fox proof no way they can get in, it could be a pole cat, maby but couldn't get the duck through Harris fencing so that's out of the question. The only thing I can think of is a BUZZARD, but why hasn't taken the hens???? I thought buzzards only eat off dead animals ect sheep. CWN HELA

Moll. 1,770
If there were only a few feather left i doubt it would have been a bop, they usually like to pluck their kills. And would probably want to move it somewhere else to feed. Bit of a mystery for me, If it were a mink i would have expected more dead bodies about.
Lab 10,979
If the ducks and chickens are in the one place then you can rule out old foxy cause he/she would have killed the lot. 1 at a time everyday usually means pussy cat but they tend not to take things away and a fully grown duck might be a bit of a struggle. You sure you aint got a 2 legged thief going about?....
Paid 935
Foxes dont always kill everything, sure they do quite often, but it isn't a given.
Lab 10,979
Not a given but if its been back twice then the rest would be dead.
