StevoSmith 147
Just as i thought the seals have gone KAPUT on my TX. Now im no tech guru and i dont know much about stripping down rifles and changing parts. My question is if i was to attempt this myself how easy/hard would it be?..Also what sort of prices do the kits cost and would it be worth putting new spring in whilst im at it. Also could i fit an accelerator to it or would that take me over the legal limit. If it will be to much for a novice like me to do correctly how much would the average gunsmith charge for new seals, springs and general tune up? Many thanks Steve Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
hi Steve you can service them your self fairly easy to do! a gunsmith would charge you about £65/85 to do the work? http://www.freewebs....x200hcstrip.htm and get your spares from here http://www.airarmssp...ir-arms-spares/ while you are at it ,give the internals a polish too! hope this helps regards Davy Quote Link to post
StevoSmith 147
Wow that looks quite easy lol....maybe i can do it. Looks like it will cost between £50-£70 to do what i said. Im concerned about the accelerator spring though as i dont want Mr Plod to test my rifle on day only for me to find it's over limit and have it destroyed. I suppose i could always use mate chrono to test it though and remove if over limit Thanks for info and sites Davy ATB Steve Quote Link to post
