sandymere 8,263 Posted January 26, 2012 Report Share Posted January 26, 2012 I had a dh/grey x collie/grey in the ’s was a good dog, very easy to get along with and made a sensible general purpose type. I ran him on the South Downs and he coped well with the flinty ground compared to some. Took a few hares etc. Stood around 26”, thick broken coat. At the mo I’ve a DH/Grey/Bull mix that has a similar temperament, think the DH helps to settle them. I’d agree with the post that states they take a little time to mature physically.
