Gunner11 0
Hahaha nice one lads ,, anyone know how to actually sort it once the meats out to make say a hat, obviously you would need more than one, just how would you disinfect it etc Cal
thursodog 353
Put them under your mattress for a month, after the first week you'll need to put a clothes peg on your nose. Seriously though i stretch them out skin side up and nail them to a board and rub salt into them to dry the hide out. Keep them in a cool dry place and rub more salt into them every third day untill the skin is dry and odourless. Chris.
morton 5,368
As a youngster i once made myself a waistcoat out of bunny pelts,i spent an eternity carefully skinning and trimming the skins, rubbing borax into them and then sewing them together.Arriving home from school one day my pride and joy was dumped outside,my mother had found this rotten half cured fly magnet in my bedroom.

The Duncan 802
Used to waste them, now I make dummies with them for dog training. Thinking of doing a hat for next winter, maybe some slippers for the mrs. Quilt sounds good
chook1 184
Use them on dummys for the dogs. if you look on ebay - theres quite a few sell on there, cure them and stick them on as some go for a few quid each.
B.P.R 2,798
I used to put them on the dummy with elastic bands but the pup eats the bits of flappy skin hanging over. I just ordered one if these http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=110812290539&index=3&nav=SEARCH&nid=18517222367
