Free printable H.F.T Zeroing targets!

Hi

these targets contain a representation of a mil-dot reticule that you can use to work out the magnification at which your mil-dots are "true", simply print one of the targets and put it out at the distance marked on the page,then look at it through your scope,adjust the magnification until the mil-dots on your scope line up exactly with the mil-dots on the page,check the mag at which this happens and there it is.

 

for this to work you MUST!! make sure that the line at the bottom of the page that is marked150mm measures exactly that,you may have to adjust your print options in Adobe Reader to 100% rather that fit paper.Don't worry if its not exactly 150mm close enough will do fine.

 

the targets also have various size circles on them that represent the different killzones sizes,Use these to work out the pellet drop at the various distances and therefore your hold over aim points.

8,10,12,13,15,20,25,30,32,35,40,42,45.

I have tried these and they work,fine out to 20yds (garden permits)

I shall be testing them out to 45yds this Sunday at the local H.F.T club and will let you know how I get on!

I scored a miserable 39 in high winds,but the score count was higher in the afternoon,as the wind died down

yes it will be OK,mine was the same and the mildots matched up OK

 

I took the HW97KT .22 to the club last Sunday and it is finally calibrated with H&N field target trophy, despite my so called mates taking the piss ,while I was trying to concentrate
