Get Gumtree Animal Free A quick look on your page Huw shows why you would say that.

there is a picture of my pup? lol

this is the type of people we are dealing with here lol

quote: Get a lawyer to write to the foxes stating that they are trespassing on your private property and to desist from doing so in future. Problem solved!!!!

Put it simple for you, they DONT CALL IN SNITCHBOOK FOR NOTHING, the amount of people who get f****d through facebook lad, id swerve your pics or get your profile on private, its in setting, top right corner ;)

Yes and the cool this is that you can view your own profile from your freinds perspective and then from the other peoples perspective which is a good way to make sure you're not exposed.

I've got nothing to hide but I used to add people I didn't really know, and they can trawl through your holiday photos or see what kind of stuff you've got in your house...jelousy can be dangerous.

I went through everyone of them and asked myself whether I would be likely to ever give them a ring for a chat in the next 6 months. If the answer was no then I got rid.

I now have only 50 people...suits me and I always thoguht it was a bit sad when u see people with 500 'freinds' obviously their precious freinds list is some kind of compensation for something.

You can also choose who can look at your photos or what you post, even if there on your friends list.

I have quite a few friends on mine, a lot are people ive never met - only know through the deerhound world or rescue world

what you have to remember is dont post anything you dont want everyone to know about no matter if their on your friends list or not

all's it takes is someone on your friends list to comment and it will come up on their ticker at the side - that allows their friends to see what you posted.

Yep it's a good idea that and I did use it but in the end I decided it was too much hassle for me to manage.

I do use LinkedIn for work related stuff which is the same kind of thing but for proffesionals. that way I can have work colleges etc on one site and freinds on the other.

facebook can be stupid at times i remember seeing an add that read " rednose pitbull terrier smashers pigs and foxers for fun £500"

This site can be just as bad, lucky the mods try to keep on top of it.

Anyone remember the topic on here where some lad put pics up of his Pit bull? then days later put another topic up crying that he had it taken off him thinking he had be grassed in  . As said the dog world is full of idiots that love to post stupid things.

Too many are just in it to make a name for themselves.

ALL sites are as bad. I had a visit from the law over something I posted on a farming forum. Hadn't done anything wrong, they were just checking what link I had with what I had posted up. Although I knew the in's and out's of what to post and what not to post anyway, it woke me up fair quick that Saturday morning!

ffs call me sad or whatever but just reading through that site makes my p**s boil!

how are we meant to compete with this?

: Hunting with dogs is illegal. Coursing is an illegal activity. I'm not sure if the law takes into account ratting ( I think terrier types are allowed to "rat" in a controlled environment like a barn or building.) but coursing (ie, rabbits, foxes and small deer) is totally illegal. Rabbits have to be controlled by poison, traps or shooting. Same goes for foxes. The poison/trap also has to pass strict legislation. obviously these aren't "pretty" methods of control, and I don't like these either but I understand it is a necessity. Being ripped apart by dogs is a disgusting means of animal control. It also is proven to not be as successful as shooting or trapping. the only reason to do so is to satisfy the poor dogs owners blood lust.
