wayne225tt 2
I used to use these alot fantastic bit of kit , but my personal preference is normal leather as the braided ones on one occasion ended with me having to climb a tree to retrieve a tangled bird Quote Link to post
ayrshiretaxidermy 29
How did that happen then? Quote Link to post
wayne225tt 2
Thorns please dont think I'm ripping ur product off because I'm not just my personal preference , I'm also well aware this could also happen with leather just I feel more comfortable with leather Quote Link to post

Shamo 319
I have tried several different types of Jesse, always up for new ideas. I don't like the Braided ones. My Birds found it fun to pull on the 'Buttons' and the Jesses and after a while of 'playing' I used to have to go and untangle it all. I make and use a type of 'Bullet Jesses', with a fixed in place washer to stop the Birds pulling them up through the Eyelet and causing tangles. Using a fairly light duty swivel helps prevent the swivel flipping through the Jesses and tangling the Leash with the Jesses, when the Bird regains it's Perch. FOR ME the 'Bullet Jesses' I make are what suits me, especially handling the Birds every day at least once a day. Not slating YOUR Braided Jesses Rob, just Braided in general. Quote Link to post
