Guest Frank
I had a whippet x greyhound dog back in the 90s. Never seen a dog like it since, took EVERYTHING. He had a way of bowling deer over and catching them by the throat, killing them quickly. Most dogs iv seen, bounce a deer off a fence, usually on the lamp and hang onto the arse. Good cross, if done right. Frank. Quote Link to post

whin 463
got a grew 23 inches two years old when very fit a good little dog infact a pleasure to own but not got the feet or coat or guts of my collie line who i used to run day and night , some times ,grew would buckle i think but in saying that shees a good little dog and alot better than i imagined , ive hunted for days on end and i dont think the grew would last but for lamping twice a week ,very good , i respect what shee is and i have ran her to see what she had in her tank and was very impressed but , i think she would be short lived if i kept it going , still out of all the sighthounds ive saw apart from my saluks she takes a bit of beating Quote Link to post

Guest Frank
I see. Personally, i have a dog for life and am not having a go at you, just amazed at how much you seem to know. You have seen pics of my whippet, i assume. Now, some folks reckon she has something else in her, prehaps collie, prehaps saluki? She does carry her tail in a saluki sorta way, but then some collies do the too. I have seen both parents, they look pure whippet to me, but, she could be a throw back? What do you reckon whin? Frank. Quote Link to post
