Swampy 147
Lets get some perspective on this. 1. Quite obviously an article printed to "send a message" to the public. 2. Didn't mention poults being shot. 3. So they didn't catch the lads with birds on them so therefore "they were just killing birds for the sake of it". Yeah right! 4. Numerous? Well exactly how many is that.? 5. " The Maristow Estate runs a commercial pheasant shoot and investigators said the loss of so many birds meant a huge financial loss." 6. The two go hand in hand – people who poach are often involved in other criminal activities." These guys weren't teenagers having a laugh. They were clever enough not to have the birds on them when caught. Not clever enough to avoid capture. Four against one gamekeeper? There is more to this story than is written. The lads got caught poaching. End of. I'm not condoning poaching .Most have been guilty of it on here one way or another,I'm just asking folk to take the article with a pinch of salt. After all you should never let the truth get in the way of a good story. Do you honestly believe everythinh you read in the papers. If you do? No wonder this country is fecked! rgds Swampy Levison enquiring ning
