quick shine out - no rabbits anywhere

Hi Guys,

 

Popped out for a couple of hours last night, I bet I didnt even see a dozen rabbits, really scarce on the ground, managed a couple of slips and bagged 1.

 

Nice to be out of course but the lack of rabbits really gets to me some nights, Id love to be able to give my bitch a good 20-30 slips in a night and see how she would get on.

I know the feeling theres not many about round my area, and its more frustrating when you know your dog could do double figures whith ease.

That's Wierd because there was nothin out a round me either where there would usually be wuite a few, thought I might of been 1 field behind a fox so tried another place and that had no rabbits on, what is goin on ?

took me dog for a crap 6.30am yesterday with the lamp on local playing field slipped me dog on a rabbit 2 turns nailed it on the hedge.back in house 10min later.

went out 9 last nite bagged another 2 was back in for 10oclock so wasnt a bad day just short and not much about either

Went for a walk the other day I hadn't been there for prob 9 years just could remember there used to be a few about didn't see one rabbit at all but by god I must of seen 30 plus hares. Strange thing is only could remember seeing the odd one or two years back used to be all rabs in the fields

Yes there is that, the last few i have had I expected to have young in em but there was nothing, just think a combination of Mixxy, fox and buzzard their numbers are taking a battering.

we have one field near us that must have 50 rabbits on but my god there hard to catch actually in the field, you can go for days and not see one, then go the next and them all be out!
