Duplex Reticle

After getting my scope, Getting used to a Duplex reticle is going to take some time.

Has anyone else got a duplex reticle scope? What do you think about it?

... I got a pretty good deal on a scope, couldn't help but buy!

Just going to try and use it properly. Adjusting from ranges, practise would help I guess. Want to know other peoples opinions.

If your shooting .177 then you're pretty much ok, flat from 15-45 yards with a light pellet so you're probably going to adjust quite well.

Pro Sport in .177, JSB Exact 4.52. I'd presume that should be ok

If you zeroed at 35 yards then you can shoot from 15-37 yards without having to aim off. Anything past 37 yards will need holdover which is far easier to judge with a mildot or similar scope

 

Ranges given are estimations give or take 1-2 yards

Apart from when you need to shoot a pigeons brain at 25 yards on x6 mag and your pellets shoots 5mm over its head.

 

At 25 yards to shoot reticule true on x 6 mag you will need to shoot 1/4 mildot hold under.

_{I shoot with a duplex on my hw 77 .177 and am more than happy with it. The flatter tragectory makes it easier to judge out to 40 - 45 odd yards and Chair gun pro really helps with your POA , but as with all things, it's time and practice!}
