What type of terrier is best for all round bushing working ect??

 

A Patterdale??

Would have said plummer but my 8 mth old black dog is bushing and mooching about as good as any terrier ive owned

All terrier's will bush providing they have a good nose and plenty of drive,they just need plenty of work,atb,WM

I had a bitch with that wouldnt enter cover and was out every day with dogs that steamed in, she would kill running rats but in 4 yrs never found one in soil and dug one out.lazy bitch or what

I know what you're saying there,I've had the odd one that likes to work the head,waiting for the bolt like a lurcher always letting the other dogs do the work,but thats dogs for you,a good nose is a must for any terrier for finding above or below,atb,WM

I for a digging dog would say pat all the way, but would go for a russell for all round work.
