Brian-911 210
Am I right in thinking that the AH (12v 7ah) means the amount of life you get out of the battery? Ie 7ah running out before a 10ah. Reason I'm asking is my battery just ran out half way through lamping this evening!!! Quote Link to post

pritch 335
deben only sell batteries & it depend on if you have a case as they're all different sizes but a 9ah is the same size as a 7ah & you can pick one up for about £15 delivered on the net Quote Link to post
Brian-911 210
Oh right, Have you got the link for the website I can get that on? Cheers Quote Link to post
123456 146
The ah is the rating on the battery, 7ah means it will give 0.7 amps for 10 hours or 7 amps for an hour. A 100 watt bulb draws 8.333 amps which means on a 7 ah battery it would last 0.84 of an hour ( I don't know what that is in minutes) on the other hand a 55w bulb would draw 4.58333 amps allowing it to last for 1.5272727 hours.
