micky 3,325
i set a few snares in the field next to my house just before dinner ,when i had set the last one, i looked back down the line and saw that i had a rabbit, i walked back to the other end of the field to pick it up and found, that it was not in a snare ,mystery,as it was not there when i first went into the field ,the rabbit was still warm ,so what i think happened was while i was setting the first snares ,the dog must have pegged one in the hedge, then brought it back to me stupid dog , she should have put it in the bag Quote Link to post

Rolfe 2
Some classic well used runs there..........nice to see some heavy rabbit traffic about, but it pays to keep your eyes open for other snaring outlets........this run along the INSIDE of some sheep netting accounted for 26 rabbits in three nights of settings with wires set approx 10 metres apart.
