Hi every one

Here is a Catalogue of some of my recent trips out, with members of Thehuntinglife our local posse

It starts with a trip Dearing & I took to Stanford a couple of week’s back, with not much to show for our efforts. But a good time out by both parties!

Here are a couple of pics

This is where the shot was taken from, and I am using my Air Arms S410K .177 Dressed with a MTC Mamba 4-16x50 with a Deben 6-9 bi pod. Pellets I used was AA Field Diabolo 8.4gr

The next trip out was with PC AKA Paul carter, we popped down to the dairy farm last Wednesday!

And to our surprise we picked of some large rats, with some nice humane head shots!

Which we also measured!

And Thursday just gone, Andyz, Dearing & I took a trip to East Hanney for some rabbit action!

After a miserable start it was time to stop, and have a cuppa. And some Nan do’s chicken which I cooked earlier in the day!

Then we had another look around

But to no avail, until the last visit to the Apple Orchard, I had a quick scan around with the Aldi monocular, and came back and told Andyz where they were!

Of he went with his trusty HW100 .177, and about 15 minutes later returned with a bunny, so thanks to the HW100 we didn’t blank

Last night I met up with PIL, he drove over to me, and we headed off to the Dairy farm, this was his first visit to the Dairy farm. And he got off to a good start, with a 25yd standing shot!

(Steve really likes his standing shooting) and he is bloody good at it too! :wallbash:

For those of the members who have been to the dairy farm & my shooting buddy lighthunter AKA chaz. Steve was around the back by the feed bays, and I stayed around the entrance to the cattle shed, and picked them of from the bank in front of the entrance! A very active area indeed.

Davy, the Pied Piper of Swindon! ;)

Good shooting guys. I need to get a scope on my old PCP, she had hers stolen to go on the WMR and has been naked since. Might have some rabbiting here at some point too, they want the wee beasties for the restaurant here, so head shots only.

Sometimes I have to smile to myself.

A bloke spends a lot of time and effort putting up a post in this section to make it interesting and something different and the usual suspects cant even be bothered to comment.

A years ago this post would have tonnes of comments for the blokes efforts.

Now it seems after a period of slagging matches and investigations, decent regulars leaving or wanting to leave for a period of time to have a break from the section that there are regulars (1 or 2) and you make it obvious who you are that seem to make it a personal mission not to comment on certain peoples posts and I'm not sure why.

Sorry for the rant on you post Davy.

This place needs to get back to how it was a year or 2 back as if it stays this crap a lot more lads will leave. Its only us lads that can make it better so we need to forget all our old fall outs, slaggings etc and concentrate on the section not on our previous arguments and disagreements.

That way it will become a good section again. For this to work though EVERYBODY needs to have input and help.

Can't beat a bit of ratting nice shooting Davy

I miss my ratting days but I'll keep trying to get some rat permission squirrel time is nearly here for me not quite as fast and furious as the rats.

How many rats did you get coming over to check you out. One bit of ratting still sends a shiver down me spine looking down and seeing one looking straight up at you between your feet
