I wouldn't dare try and surprise you, I'd only end up embarrassing myself. After all you are the all-knowing and ever fearless scothunter. The type of man on which the great british empire should model itself on. To be fair most of the Empire building by the British was kicking the French and other countries out of far away lands that they had already colonised. The Argentines Do have a claim on it and they did populate it! Self determination for the Islanders could be a touchy subject for Cameron. In '82 there were plenty of Argentines on the Island. The west Stores, the Rose and Crown pub and the Upland goose had Argies working there. they all left prtty quick mind except one guy who wanted to stay. They turned his property into the NAAFI and paid fro his trip home. Bennys, Stills, Andys or whatever you wan to call the locals these days just wanted to be left alone. The argues want to have it,then they need to go through the proper channels and convince the islanders that they would be better of with them.however they won't accept that and IMO quite rightly so.possibly they may have got the island years ago if they hadn't invaded it.doing that only made us and them more patriotic and lessened there chances.all this sabre rattling and burning the union flag is only making us and the islanders more determined to hold onto it.
